Meghan Markle is an American actress, producer and human rights activist. She has been in the public eye for quite some time as she was a star on "Suits" from 2011 to 2018.

Meghan Markle is the newest member of British royalty and has been in television since 2011. Her breakthrough role was Rachel Zane, legal drama TV series Suits from 2011 to 2018 before she married Prince Harry last May. Now that they're a royal couple—and literally both "The Duchess" (of Sussex)—she's among TIME magazine’s list of 100 most influential people.

Meghan Markle has acted in movies, been a UN Women's advocate on political leadership and participated with the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and Empowerment of Women. She was married to Trevor Engelson from 2011-2013 then she dated Chef Cory Vitiello followed by her relationship with Prince Harry which is still ongoing.

Among Markle's distant ancestors is his paternal great-great-grandmother, who was born in New Hampshire and owned land. She descended from Christopher Hussey, an interesting figure himself.
